Hi, I’m Katie! 🐾 For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. I actually dreamed of becoming an RAF dog handler, and although life took me in a different direction, I never lost that passion for working with dogs. I’ve spent my adult life around dogs and, for the past 8 years, I’ve also volunteered with Second Chance Spaniel Rescue, helping with fostering, training, emergency cases, transport and rehoming. I’ve cared for dogs with all sorts of personalities, backgrounds and needs, including nervous, reactive and rescue dogs who simply need a little extra patience and understanding. I’m now fortunate enough to have turned my passion into my full-time business, Walks with Katie, offering professional dog walking and pet care. I have my own two dogs, Abby and Bentley, who are a huge part of my life. I understand that leaving your dog in someone else’s care can feel daunting, which is why I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to get to know them, their personality, routine and what makes their tail wag! I offer solo and group walks, puppy drop-ins and day care, with every dog receiving plenty of attention, affection, exercise and, of course, unlimited treats! 🐶 Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I am fully insured, and my dog transport is equipped with crash-tested travel boxes and fans to keep dogs safe and comfortable. I don’t see this as simply a job — I genuinely love what I do. My aim is for your dog to be as excited to see me as I am to see them! ❤️🐾
