I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 6, starting with my labradoodle, Tilly, who had a litter of puppies — we kept one, Mabel, while the others went to family and friends. When we had the two labradoodles, I remember how much of a difference it made to our holidays knowing they were happy and well cared for by a pet sitter — it gave us real peace of mind. Now I have Juno, my 2-year-old French Bulldog/Pug, who I absolutely adore. I share Juno with my partner, so he’s always looked after when I’m caring for other dogs. I’ve also pet sat for many family and friends over the years and loved building bonds with their pets. Working with young adults and children with additional needs has patience, kindness, and attentiveness at its core, and those qualities naturally carry into how I care for dogs. I’m confident with all ages and personalities — from playful puppies to senior dogs — and I always prioritise safety, routine, and making each dog feel loved, secure, and happy.
