About Heidi T.
Hi, I'm Yim Man (you can call me Heidi), a dedicated pet sitter based in London, England.
- What you can expect:
As a cat owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your cat in someone else's care. My goal is to make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away so that you can have complete peace of mind.
- Medication & Health Care:
If your cat requires medication or has ongoing health needs, you can feel confident knowing I have hands-on experience administering tablets and syringe feeding. When I adopted my Bengal, she was quite weak and unwell, so she required regular medication and close monitoring during her recovery.
This experience taught me how to administer medication calmly and patiently while keeping stress to a minimum. Your cat's comfort, wellbeing, and safety will always be my priority.
- Understanding Cat Behaviour:
I've raised my Bengal since she was 3 months old, which has given me extensive practical experience with feline behaviour, body language, and enrichment. Living with an intelligent and energetic breed has taught me how to recognise signs of stress, understand individual personalities, and adapt my approach to each cat.
My Bengal can do everything from high fives and shoulder jumps to leash walks outdoors. Training her has helped me develop a deep understanding of how to build trust, keep cats mentally stimulated, and create positive experiences that suit their unique needs.
- Kittens & Young Cats:
I'm experienced caring for young kittens and understand the extra attention they require. Having raised my own Bengal from 3 months old and cared for my cousin’s kitten from 2 to 5 months of age, I'm confident with feeding routines, litter training, socialisation, and the close supervision young cats need.
- Personalised Care:
Every cat is different. Some love attention and playtime, while others prefer a quieter approach. During house sitting or drop in sessions, I focus on more than just the essentials. I take the time to understand your cat’s personality and provide care that suits their individual needs, whether that means playtime and enrichment for energetic cats, patience and reassurance for shy cats, or simply being a calm and comforting presence.
- More Than Just a Cat Lover:
When you leave your cat with me, you're not leaving them with someone who simply likes cats; you're leaving them with someone who understands them. I treat every cat as if they were my own and always strive to provide the level of care I'd want for my own pet.
- Other caring experiences:
Beyond my cat care experience, I've also walked dogs regularly, taking full responsibility for their exercise and cleanup along the way. I'm comfortable handling a dog's daily routine and making sure they're well looked after, rain or shine.
- My rate:
My rate is a starting guide rather than a fixed price — I'm happy to be flexible depending on your cat's needs, the length of the visit, and how often you'll need me. Whether it's a quick daily drop-in or longer boarding stays, just message me with the details and we can find a rate that works for both of us.
