Hi pet owners! I’m Pippa 👋

I’ve recently moved back to the UK after living in Sydney, Australia for over 6 years, and I’m so excited to get back to spending time with animals here in London!

I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, chickens and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. While living in Sydney, I used Pawshake regularly to look after dogs and cats, both in my own home and in the homes of other pet owners. I absolutely loved it and cared for lots of different breeds, personalities and needs. Alongside a lifetime of experience around animals, I also spent three months working on a horse stud in Scone, NSW, caring for horses as well as dogs and cats. I’m comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes and, most importantly, I genuinely love getting to know their individual personalities and routines.

I'm currently in between jobs so I have flexibility for weekday walks, home visits and pet sitting, as well as selected weekends. I’m also happy to stay at your home for overnight bookings and will always follow your instructions closely so your pets feel safe, comfortable and settled while you’re away.

I’m the kind of person who stops to say hello to every dog and cat I pass, and I really see pet sitting as much more than simply feeding and checking in. I love giving pets plenty of attention, affection, playtime and exercise, while keeping their normal routines as consistent as possible. I especially love taking dogs on long, enriching walks and exploring new places with them.

Whether you have one pet or a small group who get along well, I’d be delighted to care for them either in your home, in mine or through walks and home visits. I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust, so I’ll always keep you updated throughout a booking and make sure you know how they’re getting on.
