Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and looking after them is something I do with real joy. Growing up alongside a dog and three cats taught me early on how much patience, gentleness and consistency mean to a pet. Whatever the breed, age or personality, I give every animal the same warmth and attention.

DOGS

I have experience looking after dogs of various breeds and ages, and building a bond with dogs with different personalities. With some dog training skills, I can also help manage challenges such as pulling on the lead or barking at other dogs.

As an example, over the past three years, I've had the pleasure of looking after a Pomeranian called Leo for about five months each year. My days with him have included three walks, lots of playtime, regular grooming, teeth brushing, bath time and the occasional trim.

Leo used to bark at almost every dog we passed. Now, after some training, he stays calm about 90% of the time. Watching him learn, walk by walk, has been really rewarding.

CATS

I know how it feels to wake up at 6 am to “MEOW, give me some food and I won’t stop until I get what I want”. In spite of that, I still love cats! I’ve looked after independent souls who only let me stroke them when they felt like it, as well as those who followed me everywhere I went around the flat.

At 12 years old, I sat with my cat while she was giving birth, gently stroking her to keep her calm. She was my first pet, and that memory has stayed with me ever since. It's one of the reasons caring for animals still feels so meaningful to me now.

WHAT TO EXPECT

- I don't have my own pets or children. 

- I don't mix pets from different families, which means your pet will not meet other pets during their stay with me.

- I regularly send photo and video updates so that you don't have to worry about your beloved pet and can feel calm and comfortable while you're away.

ABOUT ME

I'm 32 and love both animals and children. I'm working towards a psychotherapy degree. I am a very responsible person and prefer open and honest communication. 

Outside of that, I enjoy hiking, long walks, and travelling whenever I can. I live in a spacious flat in SE10, just five minutes from a park - perfect for daily walks.
