Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and looking after them is something I do with real joy. Growing up alongside a dog and three cats taught me early on how much patience, gentleness and consistency mean to a pet. Whatever the breed, age or personality, I give every animal the same warmth and attention.

REFERENCES

Over the past three years, I've had the pleasure to look after a Pomeranian called Leo for about five months each year. My days with him have included three walks, lots of playtime, regular grooming, teeth brushing, bath time and the occasional trim.

I've also picked up some training skills along the way. Leo used to bark at almost every dog we passed. Now he stays calm about 90% of the time. Watching him learning, walk by walk, has been really rewarding.

As I'm still building my profile on this website, I don't yet have written reviews here, but I'm happy to share a reference from Leo's family.

A BIT ABOUT ME

I'm 32 and love both animals and children. I'm working towards a psychotherapy degree at a London university. Outside of that, I enjoy hiking, long walks, and travelling whenever I can. I live in a spacious flat in SE10, just five minutes from a park - perfect for daily walks.

SOMETHING PERSONAL

At 12 years old, I sat with my cat through the process of her giving birth, stroking her gently to keep her calm. She was my first pet, and that memory has stayed with me ever since. It's one of the reasons caring for animals still feels so meaningful to me now.
