Hi, I'm Meadbh and I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Journalism at the University of Winchester.
My cat, Huhu, is an 8 year old tabby who came into our lives after my work manager could no longer look after him, and he's the sweetest boy ever. But even before him, I've always loved animals. I am autistic, so I often find myself saying that animals understand me better than humans, and vice versa. I love seeing all their personalities; their curiosity, cheekiness, how cuddly they are, or if they're a bit more shy. And I know it's cliché, but animals tend to love me too - I love giving dogs the scratches they love, playing with cats, or just sometimes sitting with a bunny who needs another body in the room.
My extended family comes from a farming background, so caring for animals is in my very nature. I may not be a trained professional, but I'm more than happy to walk your dog or check in on your fur baby when you're away on business or for a holiday, because I know how much peace of mind it gives me to get an update every day on my kitty whenever I'm not at home. I can cater my work to you and your pet's needs, whether that's just making sure their water is fresh and litter box empty for the day, walking them for a few weeks while you settle in with the new baby, or feeding them a few times a day and playing with them while you finally take that trip to the Maldives. I'm very flexible, so just let me know!
