I’m Salomé, a cat lover based in Basingstoke. Cats have been treasured companions in my life, and caring for my beloved Onyx and Luno into their senior years taught me the importance of patience, familiar routines and noticing small changes in comfort and behaviour.

My commitment extends to animal welfare. In South Africa, I’ve supported Harties Feral Cat Rescue and Uitkomst Cat Sanctuary through feeding community cats, arranging trap-neuter-return, supporting adoption, sponsoring rescued cats and helping with awareness and sponsor communications.

I offer cat-care visits and overnight house sitting in your own home, allowing your cats to stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings. Standard visits last 30 minutes and include feeding, fresh water, litter-tray cleaning and time for play, affection or quiet companionship—whatever suits your cat.

For house sitting, I stay overnight, maintain your cats’ usual routines and provide companionship alongside their daily care. We’ll agree arrival and departure times, daytime absences and any household tasks before booking. With either service, I’ll send photos and updates so you know how your cats are doing.

I welcome sociable, shy and senior cats, allowing them to approach at their own pace. We’ll discuss any medical or additional care needs beforehand to ensure I can meet them appropriately.

I don’t offer boarding in my own home. Availability is agreed in advance, and I cover locations accessible on foot or by public transport. Before your first booking, we’ll go through your cats’ routines, preferences, home access and emergency arrangements, so you can leave knowing their care has been thoughtfully planned.
