I have lived with animals all my life, growing up in a family where dogs, cats, and even farm animals were part of everyday life. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and as a devoted dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring to look after your dog while you are away.

I live with my husband, Ian, and our much-loved 4-year-old Vizsla, Siouxsie. She is gentle, sociable, and friendly with both people and other dogs. Having my own dog gives me a real understanding of what owners look for when choosing boarding care: safety, companionship, routine, and the reassurance that their dog will be treated as part of the family.

To ensure the highest level of care and comfort, I only host one guest dog at a time. This allows me to focus entirely on your dog's individual needs while also ensuring that both your dog and Siouxsie remain comfortable, relaxed, and safe. I believe that limiting the number of dogs in my care creates a calmer environment and allows me to provide truly personalised attention rather than a busy, kennel-like experience.

My home is dedicated to dogs' comfort and wellbeing. I have a cosy house with a secure, secluded, and easily accessible back yard where dogs can safely play, relax, and enjoy regular outdoor breaks. Inside, there is space for dogs to settle comfortably, and if needed, I can provide separate areas to help visiting dogs adjust at their own pace.

We are fortunate to live close to local parks and beautiful woodland areas, providing opportunities for both shorter walks and longer adventures. I also have a car and enjoy taking dogs to a variety of safe walking locations, offering enrichment, exercise, and plenty of new sights and smells.

I work from home, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and receive continuous supervision, companionship, and affection throughout the day. Over the years, I have cared for several breeds, including Vizslas, Cocker Spaniels, King Charles Spaniels, and Poodles, giving me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care requirements.

I am certified in Dog First Aid and am currently studying towards an Animal Care qualification to further develop my knowledge and skills. In addition, I have experience caring for dogs with chronic health conditions and am confident administering medication and monitoring their wellbeing closely when required.

For everyone's safety and wellbeing, I only accept vaccinated and neutered dogs.

My goal is simple: to provide a safe, loving, home-from-home environment where your dog will feel secure, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else's care, and I strive to give owners complete peace of mind through regular communication, attentive care, and a genuine love of dogs.
