Welcome I'm Laura, animal lover, therapist, yoga teacher, writer. I have a calming aura that animals tend to feel safe around. I grew up caring for horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. Animals have always been an important part of my life. I currently have 2 rescue cats of my own and my Mum has 5-6 rescue dogs who I regularly help walk and care for (she fosters for a small rescue dog charity and sometimes doesn't give them back!) I love meeting rescue animals because they so much deserve a second chance. It is amazing earning their trust especially if they have been sadly mistreated in the past. I enjoy creating a calming environment for your pets, getting to know their quirks and unique personalities, their favourite toys and treats, and adapting to their needs. I am especially good with nervous pets and always give them the patience and time they deserve to get to know me and feel comfortable. I have been cat sitting and dog walking for many years but I am new to this site :) References are available. I live near South Norwood Country Park which is a perfect dog walking spot. For housesitting I am extremely clean, tidy and quiet and happy to contribute to other household care such as plant watering or bringing in post. I work freelance and I am usually found working quietly, reading or writing my novel. I can't wait to make new furry friends.
