Hiya, I'm Lou - an avid lover of dogs, hikes/long walks and travelling. I've grown up with cats from a young age so have a basic understanding of feeding and caring for them. I love the feeling of calm and playfulness I get when I'm around dogs especially after a stressful day in my corporate job.

I've previously dog sit for friends and family. Until recently, we had a Pomeranian family dog, Lula, who was certainly a character but nevertheless adored and enjoyed many farm and suburban walks with. He was a highly reactive dog so to ensure safety, I would often keep him at a short leash, stop walking when he would bark at other dogs, and choose quieter routes in the neighbourhood. I used to diligently bathe and/or clean him after a long walk. I also helped to train him with small tricks like sitting at a traffic light, how to spin and roll over. We also tried to socialise him with other dogs during puppy school, and friends' dogs who he felt more safe with.

I am currently Southeast London based and keen to offer dog walking, siting and boarding services in the Forest Hill/Sydenham/Crystal Palace area. My office is also based in Southwest London, and I go into the office two or three times a week, so am flexible to take up dog sitting and walking requests in that area for the evenings.
