My name is Louise and I am 40 years old and live in Catford. I grew up in south London and have worked for the NHS in the community for 10 years. I have had 3 years experience cat sitting for a range of cats, all with different personalities. I love cats and enjoy looking after them and playing with them. 

I spend around 30 minutes when I go visit a cat, which gives me time to play with them and give them love and attention (if they so wish!) as I understand each cat is different. I love grooming cats and enjoy brushing them if that is required. I normally visit in the evening after I finish work but in the past I have also gone first thing before work if required and that's possible for me as I work from home some days. I also cycle so I can get around quite quickly. I have varied experience so I can deal with most cat personalities. For shy cats I give them the space they need and in the past have just sat in the room in order for them to get used to me. On one occasion I left a jumper behind so the cat could get used to my smell. I've had some cats hissing at me and upset that I was in their space so I just gave them the space that they needed and let them come to me. 

I have experience administering oral medication after a cut ruptured their ligament. I can also clean up cat litter and refill this if needs be. I even have experience looking after six 8 week old kittens before with 3 older cats and it was such a joy to look after them every day (please see photos attached). They were so tiny and frail and my two daily checks made sure they were safe and well. I keep the cat area nice and clean when the owner is away so the cat is happy and content. I have excellent communication with the owner sending daily photos and videos.

I can also water plants which I have done in the past during cat sitting and I have a lot of plants myself so I know how to look after them. I can also bring in the post and have let other cat sitters know if they're running out of things eg cat food or litter.
