My name is Samantha and I have so much love for animals but predominantly dogs. I have grown up with dogs most of my life. 

I started dog sitting for friends and family about 5/6 years ago and found it to be such a joy and meaningful experience. 

I taught myself to understand the needs for dogs. Including, behavioural characteristics, different care when it comes to age, i.e looking after a puppy compared to a senior dog. I sp have experience in administrating medical care for dogs.

So when it comes to taking care of your animal, I believe I am the person for you.

Every dog I look after deserves the best love and best care. 

At the end of the day, they want to be loved and made to feel safe. I think that is especially important when their owner is absent. Letting them know that you are there to take care of them and to be looked after in the best way is so important. 

My normal routine when dog sitting depends on the owner's specific needs for their pet. 

I will feed the dog in the morning, play with them, give them affection, walk them for around 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure they are happy and hydrated. Give them dinner in the evening. If needed, I'll make sure any medication is administered. I also send photo updates and any other updates to the owner to help them feel happy and reassured that their beloved pet is being taken care of to the highest standard. 

My personal experience with dogs has always been very straightforward. I have had to give a little training here and there, in regards to improving behavioural characteristics meaning pulling on leads, barking at people or other animals whilst on walks etc

I like to think of myself as considerate and caring and someone who only wants the best for animals. All they really want is love and it is up to us to make them feel that.
