In between walking other people's dogs I like travelling (when possible with my dogs). I am a long term Mountain Bothy Association member and user, member and volunteer for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, usually in Biddulph Grange.

I have two dogs and a cat (Tricolour Collie and a Lancashire Heeler) who I take on short and long distance walks.

I have had dogs all my life, won best-trained dog competition once in Somerset with my then dog Bob. I have always had long-lived dogs which I attribute to spending all my time with them, lots of exercise, keeping the weight off them and keeping food simple.

To me dogs are best-friends, not fashion accessories.

Kitty is a dog friendly inside cat. Unfortunately I can't take dogs in as it upsets her. Even though she is dog friendly all cats need a routine (also important for dogs but more so with cats).

Happy to look after cats in other people's houses.

I used do do a lot of mountain walking but following a few scary events I now apply a simple rule: if my dogs can't go there neither can I.
