Hi! I'm a genuine animal lover who would be delighted to care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you're away. I've grown up surrounded by animals and have had cats, dogs, rabbits and fish throughout my life. I also regularly helped my neighbours with their two dogs and three small horses, so I'm comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, needs and routines.

I currently live in a flat and don’t have any pets of my own, so I’m definitely missing having animals around! Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals again while providing them with the love, attention and companionship they deserve.

I currently have very flexible availability, so I can be accommodating to different routines and schedules. I also have my own car and a full UK driving licence, making it easy for me to travel to your home and access suitable walking routes.

Although I don’t have professional pet-sitting experience, I am a registered nurse with first-aid training. This has taught me to be responsible, observant and calm when caring for others. I’m also very happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding, medication where appropriate, walks, playtime, cuddles and companionship.

I offer house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walks. My dog walks are usually 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs and energy levels, and can be tailored to their usual routine. Walks can take place around your local area, on suitable walking routes, or wherever your dog is most comfortable. Drop-in visits are generally 30 minutes, giving your pet time for toilet breaks, feeding, play, fuss and companionship.

For house sitting, I have very flexible availability and aim to keep pets’ routines as normal as possible. I would generally aim to keep periods when pets are left alone to around 2–4 hours, depending on their individual needs and what we agree beforehand. I’m happy to discuss this with you at the meet and greet, particularly if your pet needs more frequent company or care.

I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular photos and messages, usually at least once a day, and can provide more frequent updates if you would like them. I know how reassuring it can be to see that your pet is happy and settled while you’re away!

When house sitting, I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll make sure doors and windows are secure when I leave, keep keys safely stored and only use your home for the agreed pet-sitting arrangements. I’ll also follow any specific security instructions you provide and let you know promptly if I notice anything unusual.

I’m comfortable caring for small, medium and large dogs, and I’m also happy to look after giant breeds as long as they are leash trained. I’m equally happy spending time with cats and other small animals.

I would always prefer to arrange a meet and greet before a house sit or regular visits. This helps both you and your pet feel comfortable with me and gives you the opportunity to show me your pet’s routine, where everything is kept and anything important I should know.
