I've been around dogs since I was a baby. As a child, I dreamt of becoming a vet, but it wasn't to be! Nevertheless, my passions for dogs remains to this day and I currently own a male Japanese Akita and a female Labrador. Over the years, I've had a Collie, a German Shepherd, and several Labradors. 

It's not just medium and large dogs who I have experience with, though. My grandmother had a lovely poodle and a charismatic chihuahua. My girlfriend also has a fiesty and playful chihuahua, so I'm particular familiar with that small breed.

I'm trying to build up my fitness, so can match the exercise of the dog. Whether it's a super energetic one that likes to go on long walks or an older or smaller one that prefers slower, short walks, I can adapt.
