My name is Elaine. At present I work as a District Nurse. I am semi retired. I have experience of house sitting on another site. I have done over 30, locally and all over the UK. Reviews shown below. 

I have 3 grown up children in their 20's and 30's. All are independent and live in various parts on the UK. I live alone and work as a District Nurse. Over the years as a family, and when I was growing up I have had several dogs, cats and small animals that have gone with age.

My Son works as a professional dog walker, and I help him when I have free time. I love the sea and the countryside. I love walking. To have a companion when I am experiencing new places would be lovely.

Last year I spent 6 months working on the Shetland Islands and Orkney as an Island Nurse. I loves this so much. 

I love the water, sea, lakes, and like to wild swim.

I love the Scottish islands so much.

Elaine was a wonderful carer for our elderly collie, Hamish. She realised that he needs to take life at a slower pace these days and also very quickly developed a bond with him, understanding his character and needs.

Elaine is very capable, experienced and sensible. She had our home sparkling for our return, including some beautiful flower arrangements from our garden.

We both really enjoyed spending a little bit of time with her before our departure and after we returned home - she has a great sense of humour and is very easy to get along with. We would have her back ANY time !

Elaine looked after our 3 dogs and cat whilst we were in west coast of America with an 8hr time difference. Elaine was amazing, she was flexible (we had to alter our dates), clearly loved the animals, threw herself in to the whole experience, walking, meeting people and sent just the right amount of updates. The house was perfect on our return and she had made it look lovely with fresh flowers!

We couldn't recommend her highly enough. I think the dogs are missing her!!!

This was our third sit by Elaine, and the dogs were happy to see her. Our older dog has mild dementia so we thought it would be good to have a sitter familiar with them and were pleased Elaine accepted our invitation to apply. Elaine is well organised and capable and we always feel confident leaving our dogs and house in her care. Welcome back anytime.
