I have been around dogs most of my life. Starting with pet sitting for family and friends when I was young. Being a team with my wife Jen we love caring for our little Rollo and all dogs whether it be at home here in Scotland or over in Chile where my wife is from. 

Walking - Generally depending on energy levels of the dogs I offer 3 walks throughout the day. 

In the morning (8am) is the wake up routine (sniffing, enjoying exploring and waking up gradually). This walk is about enjoying starting the day, digesting breakfast and relaxing with a denta stick at the end. 

The Afternoon Trek - 12pm is the time when the second walk for another hour is more action packed. We explore locations offering good open spaces, swimming and the chance to meet other dogs mixed up with ball time depending on the dogs being walked finished off with a visit to Starbucks for a well earned puppacino.

The Evening Wind Down - At 7pm we have the wind down walk where we enjoy a casual light walk with our flashing collars, sniffing, exploring and reaching a final point where after the hour we can enjoy the night with a movie and popcorn. 

Whether your dog is small and cuddly or a big soft teddy bear the routine and care is always the same. We have the garden all set for playtime and paddling pool in the summer with an area at the back of the house perfect for enjoying nap time when we are not out on walks and enjoying exploring different parts of the Lothians. 

No dog is ever left alone without supervision whilst at the house in Bonnyrigg. The kitchen door is always open allowing them to relax fully and enjoy the space but having us with them at all times. We also have a heated extension at the back which is perfect for doggies to relax, enjoy some TV time watching Bluey and unwind.

In the event of an emergency we work with the owner for the best outcome. We have Rollo registered with Leith Vets and they are amazing. Any issues or problems we contact the owner directly as doing what is right for their loved one is the most important. If we are boarding for times longer than a week we request the owners WhatsApp or social media to allow us to send what we like to call "the pupdate". Usually this is a 1-2 minute video letting the owner see what their little one is up to whilst with us. We also welcome video chatting when possible as doggies always love to hear their owners.
