I’m an animal rights advocate with years of involvement in activism, alongside personal experience caring for rescued companion animals.

I have rescued and cared for animals myself, including two cats who came into my care after being abandoned as kittens. Looking after them taught me how important consistency, patience and close attention to behaviour are, especially when an animal is unsettled or has individual health and emotional needs.

My experience also goes far beyond my own animals. I have volunteered in the field with the Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) in Cyprus, working on operations against illegal bird trapping. This included night watches, locating traps, monitoring animals in difficult situations, documenting welfare concerns and helping rescue birds caught in illegal trapping equipment.

I have also been involved in documenting conditions affecting animals, and in animal-rights outreach, campaigns, vigils and public education. I will always do my best to help an animal in need.

Because of that background, I tend to notice the small things; changes in behaviour, appetite, movement or routine. and I take an animal’s wellbeing seriously rather than simply completing a checklist.

For visits, I can provide feeding and fresh water, litter-tray and bowl cleaning, play, enrichment, companionship and plenty of affection where wanted. I’m equally happy to give a shy or independent animal their space and allow trust to develop at their pace. I can also provide photo and message updates so you know how they are doing. Flexible with dog-walk durations and locations. Will follow all instructions to keep home secure, and do the role to the best of my ability.

I understand that every animal is an individual. I will follow your instructions carefully, respect their existing routine and treat them with the same patience, compassion and consideration I would want for an animal in my own care.

For me, caring for animals reflects the values I live by every day. 🩷🐈
