With over 30 years experience in looking after dogs, I have qualifications in Pet Psychology, Dog Behaviour, Dog Training., Dog Walking and Dog Sitting. I have a natural abillity when it comes to our 4legged friends and after being referred to by friends, colleagues and the occasional stranger as a "dog whisperer" I finally decided to take the plunge and work with them full time, and haven't looked back since. The owner of every dog that joins me on a walk or for training receives a message telling them exactly what their dog and I got up to while we were together as well as some photos of our adventure. This also includes any information that you need etc toilet visits, behaviour with other dogs. I offer walking and sitting services, infact I try to match the service to the owners needs. 121 walks allow sightly more time with the dog. In most situations I have the owners keys or access through a key box, once in, if there are any specific notes or instructions they will be left out for me. If the dog prefers to be let out at home then I will do that too. Then once the house is locked back up it's off for a walk. Pack walks are really fun, I aim for 4 dogs at a time, obviously making sure they all get along. Before taking on your friend, I love to get to know them better, so I will visit you and meet them in their safe place. I will also, always do a little research on the breed to see any behaviours I need to look out for. Once you and I are both happy, it's walkies time... So far I haven't met a dog that doesn't naturally walk up to me and or I get along with. I treat every dog in my care as if it were my own and take the fact that you have trusted me to look after your friend very seriously. I also offer pet sitting and check up solutions, where I will call in on your pet to ensure they have food, water and let out for the toilet etc, usually I stop by for 30-40 mins but also offer longer and even over night options. Finally but by no means least, I provide training, every dog needs to be trained and dealt with in different ways, I like to get to know their environment and behaviour, then work with the owner to create the perfect plan, as long as the owners realise that it only works with their assistance. My ambition is to create a special type of dog services solution, where the owners needs are met and flexibility is key. I welcome questions and requests, without them neither of us learn. In all instances I will... Ensure the dog is fed. Has access to water. Has opportunity to go to the toilet regularly. It's kept clean and their environment clean. Medications given (non needle) Notify owner of any concerns, medical or behavioural Take dog straight to the vet in event of emergency Specifically for dog walking. Ensure the owners house is left secure. Ensure dog is returned clean and dry Ensure dog is left happy and safe. I treat all dogs in my care as if they were my own. Always.
