Hi, I’m Mia, a friendly and reliable animal lover based in Bournemouth. I’ve always loved animals and really enjoy helping owners feel confident that their pets are safe, happy and cared for while they’re away. I have experience caring for cats and dogs, including shy or nervous animals who need a calm and patient approach. My own cat was originally a stray, so I understand that some pets need extra reassurance and time to feel comfortable.

I offer dog walking and pet visits in the owner’s home. Dog walks are usually 30 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s routine, age, energy level and confidence. I’m happy to do shorter gentle walks for older, nervous or smaller dogs, or longer walks for dogs who need more exercise. I can usually offer up to 2 walks per day per household, depending on my availability.

Pet visits usually last around 20–30 minutes and can include feeding, fresh water, cleaning bowls, litter tray cleaning, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, basic grooming, bringing in post, opening/closing curtains and making sure your pet is settled and comfortable. I can also send photo and message updates after visits so you know how they are doing.

I’m best suited to caring for cats and friendly, well-behaved dogs. I do not currently offer home boarding or overnight stays. I may not be suitable for very large dogs, strong dogs who pull heavily, aggressive pets, or animals with complex medical needs unless discussed first.

In an emergency, I would contact you straight away and follow any instructions you have provided. If urgent veterinary care was needed and I could not reach you, I would contact your registered vet or the nearest emergency vet to make sure your pet gets help as quickly as possible.

I work from home a lot of the time, so I can usually be flexible with visits during weekdays, evenings and some weekends depending on availability. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, comfortable and cared for.
