Brackley Paws was started out of a reflection of our own needs, having moved to the area recently with our crew of four dogs (our old-timer Lab, larger than life Chihuahua, the living teddy bear Akita and the crazy Bulldog, we’ve found it hard to find the right service for us and our animals. A holiday or night away proved impossible finding someone to take on our crazy bunch. Even a day out was hard with the dogs needing a good walk, a stretch in the legs, playtime and feeding. The introductory visit to the vet, the car wasn’t big enough, an 8-hour shift at work, too long for them to be home alone. Boy, the worry!

Brackley Paws is owned and run by a local couple who have had a busy past with animals, with at one point in our old house we had over 30 spiders, exotic fish, a selection of reptiles as well as the crew and a cat.

Lee is a Geordie and well Lucy isn’t. We both have a passion and love for animals, neither of us had many pets (well the odd hamster and goldfish) as children, so when we both left home, we went a little overboard, so have a wealth of experience with a vast variety of animals. Lee is the pack leader in our house and has a strong understanding of dog behaviour, he’s playful, funny and a strong personality. Lucy, on the other hand, is sweet, friendly, organised and a little OCD, with her attention to detail, she is a wonder in the house, and definitely thinks outside the box, she knows what she wants, goes the extra mile and that is why we offer some great, well thought out packages.

Our philosophy is simple, while you are not at home for your pets, we are. We provide a range of services from doggie daycare, dog walking, pop in visits, boarding, house sitting, vet transportation, and even bespoke packages, we aim to cater for all your desires.
