Hi, I’m Monica, a genuine animal lover with many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and a wide range of other animals.

I recently said goodbye to my beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Lily, after almost 15 wonderful years together. She was much more than a pet — she was my constant companion and a very important part of my family, my second child. Caring for her throughout her life taught me just how much dogs rely on patience, routine, understanding and, above all, genuine companionship.

That experience has made me even more passionate about giving other dogs the same feeling of being safe, loved and cared for when their owners are away.

I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods.

I have experience caring for dogs, horses, birds and reptiles, and I have completed several animal-care and veterinary-nursing qualifications:

• Level 3 Award in Horse Care & Stable Management – Higher Distinction
• Level 3 Award in Equine Behaviour & Psychology – Higher Distinction
• Level 2 & 3 Awards in Veterinary Nursing – Higher Distinction

I am comfortable following individual routines, administering medication when required, and providing extra patience and reassurance for older, nervous or more sensitive dogs.

My home has a large, secure garden, giving dogs a safe space to relax, explore and enjoy some fresh air. I aim to keep their normal routine as much as possible, including walks, playtime, meals, rest and plenty of companionship.

Most importantly, I treat every dog as an individual. I want them to feel safe, relaxed and genuinely at home while they are staying with me.
