About Jen

I’m originally from the UK but have lived in Bali for the past several years, and I’m back in the UK for 2–3 months. Dogs have been a huge part of my life in Bali, where I have rescued and fostered around 50 dogs and puppies, many of whom were street dogs with backgrounds of neglect, trauma, illness or abandonment.

This has given me extensive hands-on experience with all kinds of dogs, particularly those who may be more challenging to care for. I’m experienced with reactive dogs, dogs who are nervous or anxious, dogs who struggle around other dogs, dogs with behavioural challenges, and dogs who need extra patience, understanding and individual attention.

I’m also very experienced in caring for multiple dogs at the same time. Most recently, I cared for six dogs and four puppies simultaneously for two weeks, managing their individual routines, personalities and needs. I’m comfortable in busy multi-dog households and understand the importance of keeping every dog safe, settled and receiving the attention they need.

I’ve also cared for dogs with complex needs, medical requirements and different levels of mobility, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I understand that some dogs simply need more time, space and reassurance than others, and I’m very comfortable working at their pace and adapting to their individual personality and routine.

One of the dogs I rescued and rehabilitated in Bali was featured on The Dodo’s social media and received over 1 million views.

I’m reliable, trustworthy, calm and caring, and I have developed a natural ability to understand dogs and recognise when they are happy, anxious, overwhelmed or need some space. I know how worrying it can be to leave a dog who has particular needs with someone new, so my aim is always to give both the dog and their owner complete peace of mind.

If your dog is nervous, reactive, anxious, difficult around other dogs or simply needs someone with a little more experience and patience, I would love to help.
