My professional background includes roles with Dogs Trust and Irlam Animal Sanctuary, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals with varying needs, temperaments, and backgrounds.

I hold qualifications in Animal Studies at both college and university level, providing me with a strong understanding of animal welfare, behaviour, health, and husbandry. Alongside my professional and academic experience, I have owned and cared for dogs throughout my life and currently own ferrets, giving me practical, day-to-day experience with companion animals and small mammals.

When caring for pets, I follow owners’ instructions closely to ensure routines are maintained and pets feel comfortable and secure in their home environment. My duties include feeding, exercising, administering medication when required, providing enrichment and companionship, monitoring health and wellbeing, and maintaining a clean and safe living space. I take the time to understand each animal’s individual needs and personality, ensuring they receive attentive, compassionate care.
