Who Am I?
My name is Denice and I have been looking after animals for over 20 years through volunteer rescue work, petsitting and working as an animal technician at Bristol Zoo for 4 years looking after a wide variety of animals. I have been injection trained through that position, so I am comfortable giving injections to mammals as well as reptiles.

Animals have always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was little. They truly are one of the most amazing things in this world, a connection to nature and a real life line at times. I literally couldn't live without them. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, amphibians, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and rats. Since then I've had a wide variety of pets - from invertabrates to reptiles to mammals. I'm a firm believer in Adopt Don't Shop and 95% of all my animals over the many years have been rescues.

Currently I have 2 leopard geckos, 2 crested geckos, 2 guinea pigs, a cat and 1 Moroccan velvet spider. I'm also a keen gardener and my whole house is filled with plants!

What I offer

- A very high standard of care - I will care for your animals as if they were my own. I will adhere to all the needs and acquirements each animals has.

- Daily updates and photos/videos of your animals so you can see how they are doing. I know how important it is to have regular feedback for that extra peace of mind.

- I am injection trained, so if animals needed any injections I can do those as well for both mammals and reptiles.

- I am happy to look after any animal at all! 

- Plants and gardens are also not a problem if your trip away is a longer one. I love plants and I fully appreciate how hard it is to find someone to look after them well. I'm happy to do gardening at a slight fee.

- Some household chores, cage cleans, washing of bedding etc are no problem.

- I can spend up to 2 hours per visit, depending on your preference - 2 visits per day max.
