My name is Raul, and I recently joined this platform to help pet owners by providing reliable, caring, and attentive pet care. As someone who genuinely loves animals, I see this as a wonderful opportunity to support owners while spending time with pets and earning some extra income during a challenging period.

Although I am relatively new to professional pet sitting, I have extensive personal experience caring for animals. Over the years, I have owned and looked after a dog, a cat, five guinea pigs, and a hamster. More recently, I have also provided pet-sitting services for several cats and a dog.

When caring for pets, my priority is always their happiness, safety, and well-being. Before any booking, I like to discuss important details with owners, including feeding schedules, walking routines, behavioural habits, medical needs, and any specific instructions. This helps me provide consistent care and maintain the routines that pets are already comfortable with.

For dog walks, I typically offer walks of at least 30 minutes, adjusted to the dog's age, energy level, and owner's preferences. During walks, I focus on keeping dogs active, engaged, and safe while reinforcing any training or behavioural guidance provided by their owners.

During home visits, I ensure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, fresh water, feeding, and companionship. I understand that many animals can feel anxious when their owners are away, so I aim to create a calm, reassuring environment and build trust with them.

To ensure every pet receives the attention they deserve, I prefer to care for a limited number of pets at a time. This allows me to focus on their individual needs and provide quality care rather than splitting my attention between too many animals.

My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide dedicated supervision and regular updates to owners when requested. If I am providing daycare or extended care, I always discuss expected supervision times with owners in advance and aim to minimise the amount of time pets are left alone.

I am also happy to reinforce basic training and good habits that owners are already working on, such as lead manners, basic commands, routine consistency, and calm behaviour around people and other animals. While I am not a professional trainer, I am patient, consistent, and committed to following the guidance provided by owners.

If an emergency situation ever arises, I will immediately contact the owner, follow any emergency instructions provided, and seek appropriate veterinary assistance if necessary.

People often tell me that animals naturally connect with me, and I truly enjoy building positive relationships with every pet I meet. My goal is not only to care for your pet but also to make them feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you are away.
