About me:

I’m 28, an AI Researcher, and home based all the time at the moment. Dogs make me very happy and I like helping them develop, which is what motivates me to do this. I live in Stoke Bishop, a very quiet suburban neighbourhood, with a nature reserve and other parks within a 15 minute walk. It’s just me and my partner at home, no pets of our own.

Experience:

I’ve trained and cared for over 80 guide dogs for over 20 years. This has involved toilet training, obedience, and exposure to a variety of environments. My experience is predominantly with golden retrievers, labradors, and German shepherds. However, I also love and care for dogs of all sizes. I can’t administer medication, and I don’t offer grooming or training as a separate service.

Services: dog walking, day sitting, and boarding.

Dog walking:

We are happy to do short 30 minute walks, or longer walks (2+ hours), depending on the breed and age of your dog. We usually go to the nature reserve, or take longer walks out to the Mendips.

Boarding & daycare:

We can board two dogs at a time, with as many walks a day as needed. We’re home based all the time, so we can cover looking after your dog all day.

Home:

Our home has large open planned rooms, with lots of light and tiled floors. We have a very big garden, fully fenced with secure gates, and a car. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or upstairs, and sleep in the utility room. We do not provide food or have a crate, so please bring your own. We love to play with our dogs but are careful to ensure play does not interfere with good training and behaviour.
