I am currently available full-time to come check on your fur baby and make sure they are fed, watered, and loved-up on. I homeschool my 13 year old daughter who is also quite the enthusiast when it comes to animal knowledge and care. I guess it's in the genes 😊. Depending on the pet load (3 or more), she may be in tow as an extra set of hands and eyes which also contributes to her schooling in husbandry and geriatric pet care for the older doggy + kitty clientele. I will always solicit permissions from the client prior to a visit for my daughter's attendance contributing to her veterinary education lessons. The client is always at liberty to decline her attendance without judgment.

During the stay

Born in New York, I do not shy away from a good walk. If the fur client calls for it, we will take time to enjoy the outdoors to tire out. For the homebody fur babies, some soothing nature sounds, cuddles, and back scratches will do the trick. In-home visits will be 30-45 min blocks, food and water bowls refilled if needed, cleaning litter pans or an potty accidents that may have occurred before my arrival, and personal time with each pet (providing you don't have a shy pet that prefers to be left alone; usually more common with cat visits). Photo updates will be provided for every visit. For longer in-home stays, the pets will be left alone no longer than 4 hours depending on the age and vitality of the pet.

Requested information prior to the stay

Please be sure to note any special instructions to care for your pet or any quirks I should be aware of like chasing cars, eating rocks, or darting out of open doors. Due to my background in veterinary medicine, your geriatric pets are in good hands as I have skill in emergency medicine and an eye for symptoms that may be missed by someone unfamiliar. The skill to consult on home/short-term remedies until seeing a vet is also advantageous to my regular clients.
