I’m a lifelong dog lover (mostly small /medium breeds) and experienced dog owner and foster carer (Hong Kong Dog Rescue, Home for China Dog). My husband also grew up with dogs (Boxers and Charlies). We have three dogs, so we know how important it is to find petcare you can trust.

I work from home part of the week and am looking to welcome a small number of friendly dogs into our home for daycare. We will only take one additional at a time, unless you have two already bonded in your household. So there will be a maximum of four dogs, including ours.

This isn’t a kennel-style setup: visiting dogs spend the day as part of the household, with company, affection, garden access, walks (weekends) and plenty of opportunities to snooze somewhere comfortable.

We are used to the realities of looking after dogs, including older dogs, different personalities and dogs who have their own routines and quirks. Two of our three dogs came from rescue organisations.

We are calm, responsible and attentive, and will want to understand your dog’s normal routine, temperament and needs before their first stay. Of course it will be important to introduce the dogs too. We have a secure garden (resident chihuahua/escapologist) which will suit sociable dogs.

Above all, I want owners to be able to leave their dog knowing they’re somewhere safe, relaxed and cared for, like spending the day with family than going to daycare.
