Hi, I'm Verity, and I've been a 'cat person' my whole life! Right now I share my home with three cats, so I'm well-used to the daily routine—the feedings, the litter box scoop, and the constant attention they demand. I know how stressful it is to leave your cats behind, so I'm here to make sure they're happy, fed, and completely comfortable while you're away. I'll send you plenty of photos so you know they're doing great, and I'll treat them exactly like my own trio. I run my own business, so I don't have a rigid 9-5. This gives me lots of freedom in my day, meaning I can easily fit in visits without feeling rushed. It works out perfectly, as I'm highly flexible and can easily match your cat's specific meal times, medication schedules, or routines. When I'm at your home, my main goal is to keep things just as your cats are used to. I'll get the feeding done and the litter box cleaned right away, then spend the rest of the visit focusing entirely on them. Patience for Shy & Anxious Felines: Having three cats of my own, I know that every feline personality is unique. If your cat is shy or anxious, I never force interaction. I am an expert in the "sit quietly on the floor and let them come to me" approach. I’ll read their body language, respect their space, and let them get used to my presence at their own pace. Whether they want high-energy playtime or just need someone to sit quietly nearby while they hide, I’m happy to follow their lead. Safety & Emergencies: Your cat's safety is my absolute priority. Before you leave, we will go over a clear emergency plan, including your preferred vet's details and where you keep your cat carrier. In the rare event of an illness or emergency, I will contact you immediately while ensuring your cat gets swift veterinary care. You can travel with peace of mind knowing I am calm in a crisis and will treat your cat with the same urgency as I would my own. I treat every kitty like one of my family, so you don't have to worry about a thing while you're gone!
