My aim is to create an environment where your dog feels just as comfortable here as they do in their own loving home. Our house is their house.

Unfortunately, it’s not the time to have my own four-legged friend! I live in a three-bedroom detached house that backs onto farmer’s fields on a quiet road. I have a large, fully enclosed garden. Growing up in houses with multiple dogs, horses, and other animals, I have plenty of love to give and the perfect house and surroundings to do so. We’ve dog-sat for over 10 years on and off and have grown up in environments with several dogs.

My job means that when I’m in the UK, I work from home. This means I’m in the house all day, so where required, 24/7 supervision is available. However, my job also involves a lot of travel, so it’s not the right time to have our own four-legged friend. When I’m working from home, which is 80% of the time, I work flexitime. This means I have the flexibility to walk and tend to your pet as required.

I walk and run daily and have lots of love, attention, and experience to give. We often take high-energy dogs running if they have the lead manner to do so. The farmer’s fields behind are very secure, ideal for those dogs with recall! I do have a lunge line, which I’m more than happy to use for those doggos with less recall and attention span, who still need a good run out! The area also has great pavement walks and quiet routes for mixed terrain and those dogs who just need a little tootle. There’s also a great doggy paddock just a 5-minute drive away. I’m happy to optimise where requested.

Schedule and “a dog’s day to day” are carefully considered and mirrored where possible. This means a meet and greet and discussion around “the normal” is a must. Personally, the change of scene is enough to show how your dog is treated at home. This includes walk times, dinner times, sleep patterns, where they normally sleep, access to the house and garden, access to furniture, walk lengths, training, tone, and any behaviour coping mechanisms.

Dog sitting seems like the perfect way to involve dogs in our lives during my downtime when I’m not travelling. It allows the best of both worlds for both parties.

As a dog lover, I understand the importance of choosing the right place for your furry friend to stay. I provide a “home from home” experience, as dog holidays are not a business venture but a passion for dogs. I only take one booking at a time, so your dog/dogs are the prime focus and the only animals in our care.

My experience in dog care spans from puppies to seniors, covering most breeds and medical conditions and behaviours. A meet and greet is always required to ensure a good fit for both us and you.

I also have 16 years of experience and am BHS qualified in teaching horse riding and horse welfare. I’m more than happy to help with equine requirements where needed.
