Hi, I’m Heather! 🐾

I’m a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I grew up surrounded by pets, and have been professionally looking after other people’s animals since I was 18 — so caring for animals really is second nature to me.

I sadly lost my beloved dog recently; he was a huge part of my life for 10 years. Caring for him through those years gave me so much experience with dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs — including the patience and gentle extra care that comes with looking after an older dog. I know firsthand how much they become family, and I understand just how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your precious pets. That’s why I always treat every animal as if they were my own — with kindness, respect, and plenty of love.

I’m DBS checked and currently work part-time at a local school, where I support children in a caring, responsible role. This reflects my reliability, patience, and commitment to looking after others — qualities I bring fully to every pet I care for, too.

I’m home 4 days a week, and my working hours are 9am–3pm. My partner is home whenever I’m not, so your pets will never be left alone — there’s always someone here to keep them company, keep an eye on them, and give them fuss and attention. I’m also available throughout all holidays, so I can be flexible around your travel plans.

We have a large, fully fenced garden where dogs can run and play safely, and we’re also close to local parks and lovely nature walks for plenty of exploring and fresh air.

I offer in-home pet sitting and dog walking, and I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and all the general daily care your pet needs. I take the time to get to know each pet individually — learning their routines, their little quirks, what they love, and what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure their stay is comfortable, stress-free, and full of affection.
