I have always held such incredible affection for animals, and I was lucky enough to grow up with so many different beautiful pets - cats, dogs, rats, hamsters, gerbils, an African Grey parrot, a Bearded Dragon, Giant African Land snails, tropical and coldwater fish, rabbits, etc - the list goes on! It is my passion to care for your pets and ensure they get the very best of care and as much attention as they want. I provide a respectful, calm approach to new pets, and I am often making new furry friends while out and about, even when they're shy. 

I have had many years of experience as a pet-sitter, across all ages and backgrounds. A particularly special pet I cared for was my elderly neighbour's Springer Spaniel, Freddy, who had previously come from an abuse situation. It took a while to gain his trust but eventually it paid off and he turned out to be an absolute lovebug! I cared for him for almost a decade, well into his senior years, so I am well versed in what elder pets can require. On the opposite end, I have also helped raise a few puppies! 

I am happy to visit before our scheduled time while you are present so your pet is comfortable with me and can get used to me. I am happy to do these pre-sitting visits at a reduced rate upon request. I am quite flexible as a Master's student, and I am happy handling most pets - my only exception is insects/spiders, though I am still able to feed them! 

My services are flexible, whether you require one short visit a day to whether it's a longer visit including feeding and medication administration. I have had medically complex pets myself and I am confident in making sure your pet stays healthy. I am also more than happy to house-sit for extended periods of time, and provide short walks for up to 30 minutes. I am also happy to clean out enclosures and litter boxes, keep up with any training etc. I have plenty of experience with high energy pets/breeds as well as the mellower ones.

Is your pet super cuddly and wants to be velcro'd to people all the time? No problem, I love hanging out while reading a good book with a cat on my lap. Is your furry friend timid and shy and would rather be invisible? That totally works too, I can absolutely give them their space and pretend I don't know they're there. I am well educated on various animal behaviours and I'm keen to know exactly what your pets like so they have the best experience. Rest assured that your pet's safety and comfort is paramount and they will recieve the very best of care from me. I will send you regular photo/video updates and will provide quick responses while I am caring for your pet.
