Hi! My name is Amelie, and I am an enthusiastic pet sitter who enjoys spending as much time with animals as possible. I have looked after cats and dogs for short periods of time but most recently over the couple of years, I've been regularly sitting for several cats including for a lively 3-year-old cat called Monster, who has taught me a lot about caring for energetic, affectionate pets. I've also supported family and friends by popping in to look after both cats and dogs for feeding, playtime, walks, and companionship, so I'm confident with a variety of temperaments and needs. My experience also extends to ferrets and rabbits, and I'm happy to cater to specific needs, I'm very flexible when it comes to routines, diets, or special requirements.

I'm experienced with pets that may need a little extra understanding, such as rescue animals or those with behavioural quirks, and I'm familiar with basic dog training techniques. When caring for pets, I always provide constant supervision and tailor my approach to suit their personalities. I am able to administer oral medications when needed, and I also offer basic grooming to keep pets comfortable.

With a full driving license and my own car, I can provide safe transport for pets in case of emergencies or vet visits and I'm happy to travel to places that are harder to reach. I also have a cat of my own, so I know firsthand how much love and attention our furry friends deserve.

My priority is to make sure every animal I care for feels safe, happy, and loved, while giving owners confidence that their pets are in responsible hands. 🐾
