Having always grown up with pets, I took the plunge to start pet sitting in January 2024 - The Whiskers Watcher was born! The business has gone from strength to strength and branched out from cats and dogs to chickens and parrots. Experience with medications, hostile or shy animals and every visit or stay is tailored to you and your furry friends.

I am fully insured and have relevant pet first aid and emergency (including CPR). 

Visits and stays, your house is treated with the utmost of care and I'm happy to do additional jobs/ tasks e.g. closing curtains, putting on lights, taking bins out, so the house appears as normal as possible!

I offer drop in visits and overnight stays.

Meet and greets are a must and are an introduction to both you and your pets. Bookings do not need to go ahead from here and it's completely non-committal. 

I would always like to know: how your pet behaves, what is normal or not for them, their health needs and any concerns or medications. What they like to eat and what they don't. 

Are they inside or outside animals. Do they like strangers or are they a bit wary. Visits are usually 20-30mins but can vary and tailor to you and your pets.

I will always keep in touch and take a contact number, including emergency contact and vet practice details. 

Messages will be sent directly, either text or Pawshake app to let you know how everything is going (and pictures too)! If a pet seems unwell, I will of course contact you in the first instance however be assured that if they have deteriorated quickly or it is critical, I will ensure they are seen by a professional promptly.
