I have had dogs for over 25 years including 4 rescue dogs and have experience of looking after puppies both my own and my daughter's. She has a French bulldog who I regularly look after. My two rescue dogs Trudi and Rodney sadly passed away last year, both aged 16.

I have looked after all my grown up children's dogs while my children have been on holiday including looking after Buddy my son's Boston terrier for 3 months and preparing him for a move to America where son had moved to. 
 I feel it's very important to know the routines and likes and dislikes of the dog or cat you are looking after. That includes where and when they like to sleep, snacks and toys , where they enjoy their walks, if they like cuddles and their mealtimes. The owner knows their pet best . I am aware that not all dogs like other dogs, very important to know when you're walking them. I am happy to take your dog on their familiar walk and could walk them for an hour if needed.

I really love dogs and cats and being around them, each one is a different character which is fabulous.

Now I'm retired I'm really looking forward to having lots of time with dogs and cats. I am happy to walk your dog, do visits or stay in your home overnight to care for them.

I'm available mornings afternoons and evenings for dog walking or visiting to sit with/feed/walk your dog. I am able to visit for 2 hours at a time, water plants and take in post.

I would make sure that your house is secure when leaving it for your pet's safety and your security.

I am also able to look after 2 dogs and walk them together.I currently do not look after any dogs in my own home .
