I’m a genuine animal lover, particularly fond of cats, and I’m mainly looking to offer cat sitting as a way of providing some company, care and reassurance while their owners are away. I also love being outside, so dog walking is a great way to spend time in nature and with a furry friend.

I grew up with family cats and dogs, and started helping my dad with his dog walking and cat sitting when I was a teenager. I’d regularly cover for him when he went on holiday, so I’m comfortable with the everyday responsibilities that come with looking after pets and making sure they feel safe, settled and cared for.

For me, cat sitting is as much about companionship and wellbeing as it is about the practical things. I’m happy to spend time with a cat at their own pace — whether that means playing, giving them attention and fuss, or simply being there so they have some company. I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine, and I’m very respectful of that.

I’m doing this because I enjoy being around animals and would love the opportunity to give something back by helping pets feel happy and cared for when their owners can’t be there.
