I’m a lifelong animal lover and the proud owner of Lyla, my one-year-old Border Collie. She is energetic, playful, affectionate and very much part of the family, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust when leaving your dog in someone else’s care.

I work from home, which means the dogs are rarely left alone and get plenty of company, attention, playtime and cuddles throughout the day. On the occasional occasion that I need to go out, dogs may be left alone for a maximum of 2–3 hours, provided they are comfortable with this.

I offer dog boarding in my home, where your dog will be treated as part of the family and follow a relaxed home routine. A typical day includes two walks, usually around 45–60 minutes each, although I’m very happy to adapt the length, pace and frequency to your dog’s age, energy level and normal routine. There are also plenty of opportunities for playtime and toilet breaks throughout the day.

We have a secure, fully enclosed private garden where the dogs can play, relax and have quick toilet breaks, as well as plenty of lovely places nearby for walks. Dogs are welcome to relax with us in the house and make themselves at home.

Lyla is friendly with other dogs and enjoys having company, so I’m happy to welcome sociable dogs who are comfortable sharing their home environment with another dog. For this reason, my home wouldn’t be suitable for dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs.

I prefer to care for only a small number of dogs at a time so that every dog gets plenty of individual attention and affection. Feeding will always follow your instructions and your dog’s usual routine, and I’m very happy to send photos and updates while you’re away so you can see how they’re getting on.

Before a first stay, I’d love to arrange a meet and greet with you and your dog, together with Lyla, so we can make sure the dogs get along and that everyone feels happy and comfortable.

My aim is simple: for your dog to feel safe, relaxed and loved — and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re being cared for as if they were one of my own. 🐾❤️
