Hi! I'm Harri, an avid animal lover with several years of experience of animal care, specifically dogs and cats. I have multiple a pets of my own, two cats who are 2 and 18 years old, a 6 year old dog and a small mischief of rats! (It's a mad-house sometimes 😆)
I have worked with cats at a Blue Cross rehoming centre in the past as well as a doggy daycare, and have plenty of knowledge/practise in working with animals, especially those who are nervous and need some extra care and patience.
I'm currently studying Bioveterinary Science at University and have a National Foundation Diploma and Extended Technical Diploma in Animal Management. I believe that every pet deserves the upmost love and care when being looked after, and I enjoy going that extra mile to meet their needs.
My cat would tell you I'm an excellent chin scratcher and my dog would recommend my belly rubs, when invited, and I love to get involved in hands-on play! I understand how to read behaviour and I let them set the boundaries - no matter how cute and sweet they may be, I will never step across those if they are uncomfortable (unless in the case of an emergancy)
I'm well practised in cleaning, feeding and handling from my own personal experience and my higher education, and if required I can administer oral/topical medication that is prescribed by a vet and provided to me by yourself.
As your pet sitter or walker, I will spend my time playing/sitting/talking with your pets, cleaning their food and water bowls, topping up their food and water, cleaning their litter tray/area, making sure their space is tidied and checking up on their general appearance and health to be sure they are all okay during my visit. I'll be more than happy to provide a plethora of pictures and videos of your furry friend while I am there.
I can also check-up on any other pets/plants you have, as I also have plenty of experience with rodents, rabbits, and some exotic pets.
