I grew up with a Springer Spaniel, so having a dog around the house was a big part of my life, and I’ve also had experience caring for cats. I really enjoy getting to know animals and seeing their different personalities, whether they’re energetic, affectionate or more independent.

I work remotely as a graphic designer, which is one of the reasons pet sitting suits me so well. I’m around during the day and have the flexibility to give a pet plenty of company, attention and care rather than them being left alone for hours. I’m also responsible and take looking after someone else’s pet seriously.

I offer dog walking and house sitting. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, etc. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats and would always take the time to understand what your particular pet is used to.

I’m attentive when it comes to looking after animals and prefer to learn what works for each pet rather than treating them all the same. I’d ask about their usual routine, what they’re like on walks, how they behave around other dogs or people, and any little things I should know before you leave.

I’m particularly careful with doors, gates and leads. I wouldn’t let a dog off lead unless you were completely happy with it and I knew their recall was reliable. I’d also keep an eye on things like eating, drinking and behaviour so I’d notice if something seemed unusual. While you’re away, I’m happy to send you regular updates and photos, and if anything did concern me, I’d contact you straight away rather than simply assuming it was nothing.

I don’t offer drop-in home visits, but I’m very flexible with house sitting and dog walking. Looking forward to hearing from you! Always happy to answer any of your questions😊
