I grew up with big and small dogs and also spent a few years on a farm in South Africa with a variety of animals. As an adult I have looked after pets for family and friends when required and had 4 rescue dogs of my own, so I have a wide range of experience of dogs at all ages stages and backgrounds. 3 of my rescues have now passed on and I cared for them throughout sickness, cancer and old age until they went to doggy heaven ❤️ I have also raised a family but am now in my house on my own, I really miss the hustle and bustle of busy family life so I would love to look after your beloved pets so the house has some fun and liveliness in it again! Please make sure your pets are fully vaccinated, treated for parasites and neutered/spayed so we can all be happy and healthy 😊

I only look after pets on days when I am at home (this is usually Friday to Monday, but other days are possible on request) so they will not be left unattended for long periods. I usually let all dogs sleep downstairs unless requested not too, I am willing to let them sleep in their bed in my bedroom if necessary. I do allow dogs on the sofa with a blanket so I can wash the blankets and keep the environment clean and hygienic for everyone.

I have one small rescue dog, Dusky who is female, pug cross with chihuahua and is 14 years old. She is very chilled and spends most of the day sleeping. I can take 2 dogs at a time and will walk the dogs twice a day, weather depending. In summer I walk about an hour first thing and about half an hour in the evening. In winter I walk an hour at lunchtime and half an hour either morning or evening, weather depending. I have a fully enclosed, safe and secure back garden which the dogs can access 24 hours a day through a dog flap. The back garden gate is always padlocked. I have lots of experience administering oral medication to dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets soon!
