Hi, my name isTeresa and I live in the Colchester area. I have been pet sitting at other people's homes for seven years now and thoroughly enjoy it. I grew up with animals, those being a cat, seven rabbits and two gerbils so am quite at home with various types of animals. I have gained alot of experience in the last seven years looking after cats, dogs, chickens (more recently) and guinea pigs. I have learned a lot about myself and animal behaviour during this time. I love being involved with animals and caring for them gives me a great sense of purpose. This is my motivation for working as a pet sitter, together with being able to provide an invaluable service to the owner. I can pop in to your home, feed/walk or both, depending on the animal, change litter trays, clean out their living areas, play and provide affection and carry out various other tasks that may be required whilst you are away. Please note, I can only accept pop in requests within 5 miles of the Colchester area due to petrol costs. Whilst housesitting, I can take on other duties such as putting the rubbish out, collecting parcels, putting post away, watering plants and general upkeep of the house so that it is clean for when you return. Any additional duties required can be discussed prior to booking. I am a very caring individual who is trustworthy and reliable and treat all animals as if they were my own. I treat this service with great seriousness, given the responsibility that comes with it and am currently looking to further add to my services in undertaking a First Aid course and dog trainer/behavioural studies course. I will send you photos of your pet/pets as often as you would like to keep you updated on how they are doing and for your peace of mind. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your pets needs and I will do my very best to ensure your pet/pets are happy and well looked after whilst you are away. I am currently re-training to work in Radiography alongside pet sitting, which means I may be involved in shift work at times, so please bear this in mind. If you are still interested in speaking to me regarding sitting, please go ahead with an enquiry and we can arrange a meet and greet to discuss further. References can be provided on request.
