Hello, my name is Mercedes and I live in Copplestone with my husband and our beloved bunny, Hazel and Our cheeky puppy Willow.

I love all animals both big and small. I am an experienced pet owner having owned several dogs as I grew up. Both of my dogs were actually rescues from Batersea dogs home and of completelty different natures so I understand that all dogs have very individual personalities and need to be handled in a way they feel comfortable .

Our first dog was called Lucy and was a beautiful Collie/Labrador cross who was an obedient but nervous dog who lived to a good old age of 14. After her sad departure we re-homed another dog from battersea a Collie/German Shepard cross called Amber who has had a slightly rough start to life. this has led her to become very nervous and defensive around strangers but she is a loveable and loyal sweetheart once she trusts you. Unfortunately Amber is now my parents dog as I have moved to Devon but having helped train her from a yound age I was glad of the experience with how to deal with mistreated/difficult dogs.

As I now live in Devon I have branched out in my animal care and I now own one gorgeous bunny, a mini lop called Hazel. She has a very big personality and get quite grump sometimes but is very affectionate to when treats are involved. By looking after hazel I have learnt how to carefully handle smaller animals who may be more weary of humans and understand the speicific care they need. Whislt some people may think smaller animals don't need the company of humans quite as much, I know how attached they can become to their owners and how important it can be to find someone who knows what they need and give them some time out the cage whilst you are busy.

I also own a gorgeous grand basset griffon Vendeen (yes I know it’s a mouthful) puppy! She is one of a kind a completely cheeky and adventurous hound who definitely has selective hearing especially when she catches a scent. She is super friendly and has loved to play with every dog she has met. So if your dog is in need of a pal during doggy daycare then Willow is the girl for you.

I enjoy spending my spare time outdoors going for walks and would love to add your furry friend to make this time even better. Alternatively I would love to look after and give some play time to your small pet, making sure they're happy, and looked after properly.
