Hi, I'm Lydia! I'm offering dog walking and pet sitting services for all kind of species and temperaments. I'm currently taking a gap year after finishing an animal management course, with plans to apply to studying veterinary medicine in the future. I love all animals, and have worked with a huge variety of species, both with my own animals, at college, and during my work placement at a veterinary practice. I have also previously worked in a dog daycare and boarding kennels, and so I am confident working with dogs of a wide range of breeds and temperaments

DOG WALKING

- individual walks and walks with another dog (normally my personal dog) both offered, provided I feel comfortable handling both individuals at once

- reactive dogs or those with additional needs also accepted (additional communication on the animals needs and behaviours will likely be necessary to allow me to walk these individuals for their safety, my safety and the safety of others)

- there is no breed prejudice here: I will judge whether or not I feel safe and comfortable being responsible for each dog as an individual. I will walk banned breeds such as xl bullies as long as they are exempted and muzzled (as otherwise this would be illegal)

PET SITTING

- available for dogs cats, small mammals and other more exotic species if this is desired

- I will stay at the house during the day to care for the animal, socialising with it and carrying out any husbandry tasks that may be required, including walking (again this is also available for dogs with more complex needs or behavioural issues, but the same conditions apply as when walking them)

POP-IN VISITS

- available for dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians 

- I will regularly visit the owner's home to socialise with, feed, walk or perform any other husbandry tasks needed to care for the animal (including feeding reptiles who need live insects or frozen whole prey)

- again this is also available for animals with more complex needs or behavioural issues, but the same conditions apply as when walking them
