Hi, I'm Katy-Mai!

I've been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and was lucky enough to spend 14 wonderful years with my own dog, Murphy. Caring for him throughout every stage of his life taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and treating every dog as an individual.

I'm now looking to offer dog walking and occasional pet sitting because I genuinely love spending time with dogs and helping owners who need an extra pair of hands. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or prefers a slower stroll with plenty of time to sniff, I'm happy to adapt to their needs and personality.

Reliability is very important to me. As a shift manager, I'm used to being organised, responsible, and trusted by others. I'll always treat your dog with the same care and attention I'd want for my own.

My schedule is hard to specify as I often work a range of shift patterns. However, I know this schedule a month ahead so will be able to make arrangements in good time. I will message when collecting the pet and will give updates about what happened during the walk.

Services I offer:
🐕 Dog walking (30 or 60 minutes)
🏡 Drop-in visits for feeding, company, toilet breaks, or playtime
🌙 Occasional overnight stays in your home (by arrangement)

I'm happy to walk dogs of different ages and energy levels, including older dogs who may need a gentler pace. Before every first walk, I'd love to meet you and your dog so we can discuss their routine, personality, and anything important you think I should know.

I will also contact you immediately in the case of an emergency. I will also take your pet straight to the nearest vet (or their registered vet if disclosed). Your pets safety and comfort is my biggest priority. This is also why I will make sure to adapt my training style to the needs of every dog. No dog is ever the same and so training will be changed to suit each dogs style.

I am patient with energetic dogs and ensure they stay calm while walking. For older and more relaxed dogs, I take a slower approach and pay attention to their needs while out, taking breaks when required.

I know how much our dogs mean to us, and I promise to care for yours with kindness, patience, and plenty of fuss!

I prefer to walk just one dog at a time (unless specified previously) to ensure the safety of your pets and other people. However, during these occasions, I will ensure all pets are looked after and treated with the upmost respect and doing what I can to keep all their needs met.

In the near future, I hope to complete a pet first aid course so I can provide necessary first aid should you pet need it. I also hope to complete specialised dog training. This will not only ensure your dog(s) will be well cared for, but also able to learn skills on the way.
