I’ve grown up with dogs and been around them my whole life, as well as being very horsey and owning a horse as a teenager - so I’m certainly not afraid of getting out in the rain and mud! I’ve cared for two dogs growing up (a Samoyed and a Shih Tzu) and have a year’s experience of regularly caring for and walking my friend’s toy Cavapoo. I have also dog sat for another friend, keeping their lovely lab company! I have experience with multiple breeds and am confident with large and boisterous dogs. Since moving I’ve been missing caring for dogs and wanting to spend time with them again.

I’m a postgraduate student with a very flexible schedule, and a background of caring for all sorts of doggies! A typical day with me completely depends on the pup’s individual personality. I love getting outdoors for long walks and hikes, and would be happy to provide both on lead and off lead (in secure areas) walks. Time spent playing at the dog park, in the garden, or having cuddles indoors are equally up my street. I love spending time with dogs, so it all depends on what each dog enjoys and needs during the day.

I can provide both 30 minute or hour long walks, and can walk up to two dogs from the same household at one time. (If your dogs are very well behaved, I would consider walking more than two). If a dog has behavioural issues which impact walks, I will only walk that dog alone for the safety of myself, the dog and everyone else. I want each dogs’ walk to be enjoyable and give it the attention it needs when out and about. I will not walk any dogs with dangerous behavioural issues as I am not a dog training expert.

Drop ins can be up to an hour, and can include letting out, feeding, watering, cuddles and play time. If your pet has any medication with food I’m happy to do this! Drop-ins are for dogs and cats, and there is no pet limit, although if there are several pets in the home the drop in will have to be longer. I can drop in on a pet once or twice a day, and am flexible with times!
