I’ve grown up on a farm surrounded by dogs and horses, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve also looked after family dogs over the years and have two working dogs of my own, including a Labrador. This has given me plenty of hands-on experience with different energy levels, daily routines, exercise and training. Dog walking 🐾 I enjoy getting dogs out for fresh air, exercise and plenty of sniffing time. Walks can usually be around 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, fitness, energy levels and individual needs. I’m happy to follow your usual walking routine and any instructions you provide. Boarding and home routine 🏡 For boarding, I want dogs to feel comfortable and settled in a safe, relaxed environment. I’ll follow their normal feeding, toilet, exercise and bedtime routines as closely as possible, with plenty of attention and opportunities to relax. I have my own two dogs, so I would arrange introductions carefully and gradually, making sure everyone is comfortable before any time together. I also have access to kennels as a backup option if needed for safety or separation, and would discuss this with owners beforehand. Dogs will be in the house with me and treated as my own, I usually find they like to spend the time with myself and my own dogs and with plenty of dog beds and sofas around there is always a comfy spot for them. We have a fully secured garden with a lockable gate to added security. We have walks directly from our house into lovely open fields. Supervision and safety ❤️ I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s dog seriously. I’ll follow your instructions around feeding, leads, behaviour and any specific needs, and make sure dogs are appropriately supervised. I would discuss your dog’s comfort with other dogs, separation needs and any time they may need to be left alone before accepting a booking. I am able to take up to 3 dogs at a time, I am confident in providing any medication if required and have suitable storage for this I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’d treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own.
