Hi there! I’m Lori, a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caregiver based in the Ellesmere Port and Chester area. My home is shared with my husband, and our beautiful 12-year-old Samoyed, Ellie.

My experience with animals is incredibly broad. I grew up in a home full of pets, caring for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I also have extensive experience with exotic pets, including birds (ranging from lovebirds to intelligent African Greys), tortoises, and even hedgehogs. No matter what kind of pet you have, I understand their unique needs and behaviors.

Specialist Care & Skills:

Medication & Health Administration: I am fully confident and experienced in administering oral medications to pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. I can also perform basic oral health care routines to keep your dog's teeth and gums clean.

Strong Dog Handling: Our sweet Samoyed, Ellie, can be a strong puller on walks, so I am very experienced and physically capable of handling and managing strong dogs who pull on the lead. You can trust that your strong dog will be kept safe and secure on our outings.

Senior Pet Expertise: Having a 12-year-old senior dog of my own, I have a soft spot for older pets. I understand the patience, gentle handling, and strict routines required to keep senior animals comfortable and stress-free.

A Typical Day & Routines:

Walk Routines: Dogs boarding with us enjoy at least two dedicated walks a day tailored to their energy levels, whether that's a brisk, secure walk for an active dog or a slow, sniffing stroll for a senior.

Sleeping Arrangements: Guest dogs usually sleep in our lounge or wherever they feel most secure and comfortable, mirroring their routine at home.

Time Left Alone: Because my weekends are highly flexible and dedicated to home life, guest pets are rarely left alone for more than 1–2 hours at a time, ensuring constant supervision, cuddles, and companionship.

Our Setup & Availability:

We have a large, spacious, fully secure, and enclosed garden that is perfect for safe outdoor play and sniffing. Because Ellie is a gentle senior, our home is best suited to hosting friendly, social dogs who enjoy the company of another dog.
