Hi, I’m Darcy! 🐾 I’ve grown up around dogs and have always had a huge love for animals. I have my own dogs and have lots of experience caring for them, so I understand how important it is to find someone you completely trust to look after your pet. My motivation for starting my own pet-care service is because I genuinely love being around animals and would love to make caring for your pets my work. I want every dog I look after to feel safe, happy and comfortable while their owner is away.

🐶 Dog Walking

My approach to walks is always based around the individual dog. I don’t believe every dog needs exactly the same walk — some love exploring and sniffing, some have lots of energy and enjoy a more active walk, while others prefer taking things at a slower pace.

For a typical walk around Epping, I’ll usually head towards local parks, green spaces and quieter areas depending on your dog and the route you prefer. I’ll give them plenty of time to sniff and explore rather than rushing them, while keeping a close eye on their behaviour and surroundings. I’ll follow your instructions regarding lead walking, other dogs and anything else you tell me is important.

I can also track your dog’s walk using Strava on request, allowing you to see where we went, how long we were out and the distance covered. I’ll send you photos and an update after the walk so you know how your dog got on. 🐾📍📸

🏡 Drop-In Visits

My drop-in visits are ideal for dogs who need some company, attention and a toilet break while you’re out.

Visits can be arranged around your dog’s needs, with the usual visit lasting around 30 minutes. When I arrive, I’ll check that your dog is happy and comfortable, give them some attention and affection, and let them outside for a toilet break if appropriate.

I can provide their usual food according to the feeding instructions you leave for me, refresh their water and give them some playtime and attention. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they can stay comfortable in their own home.

I’m also happy to tidy up after your dog where needed, such as cleaning up any accidents or leaving their feeding area clean and tidy. I’ll make sure they are settled and comfortable before I leave.

During every visit, I’ll provide an update and photos so you can see your dog and know how they’re doing. I think regular communication is really important, especially when you’re trusting somebody else with your pet. ❤️

Before the first booking, I’d love to meet you and your dog so you can tell me everything I need to know about their personality, routine, feeding, walking preferences and anything they may be nervous or unsure about.

My aim is to make every walk and visit positive, safe and enjoyable — while giving you complete peace of mind that your dog is being cared for with the same love and attention I would give my own. 🐶💕
